Happy Easter, friends!!!!! The kitchen made us a huge brunch and I got stuffed full of french toast, eggs, bacon, yogurt and fruit, and coffee.

I fly back to Rhode Island a week from Saturday.

-cd: I dunno if it even came out in 09, but I listened to Vampire Weekend at lot.
-movie: Having not seen a lot of the movies from this year, I did really like The Hangover. But I'm sure if I had seen District 9, Up or Avatar, it would be one of those.
-song: Bad Romance, Lady Gaga. of COURSE!!
-experience: Climbing a friking GLACIER! And all of New Zealand, really.
-concert: Moody Blues because its the only one I went to I think!
-book: Oh man I don't think I read any newly released books, I read all old ones!
-month: April.
-day: 2nd day in NZ, where we partied in Auckland until 5AM, took an 8AM bus ride through the North Island, and then did black water rafting in Waitomo Caves.

-predict something that you believe will happen: I'm going to have plenty of new adventures!!!
-what do you hope changes about your country?: Ooh healthcare and moneys gets worked out.
-what do you hope for yourself?: I find a great temp job and get into grad school!
-what do you hope for your family?: Ugh that Mom and Dad chill on the Paul-bashing and my sister finds a way to tone down the dog-obsession.
-what do you hope for your best friends?: That we stay in contact now that schools over!

-where were you when it began?: My house. I think I was probably asleep!
-did you stay up?: No. I was snowed in and leaving for LA on the 1st!
-what was your new year wish?: To have a kick-ass time on 3 Seas

-new friends?: Sam! Anyone we met in Mo'orea/Catalina, a bunch of Aquarium peeps like Leslie!

-missed anyone?: A few here and there. I get to see people once in a while tho.
-win anything?: EastWest XXV flipcup champs 2 years running!
-best place you went to?: New Zealand. And unda the sea!

-happiest moment?: Diving in Catalina with a sea lioness!
-how was your birthday?: It was okay, I think I had to work!
-best present?: A shell.

|2-0-0-9| Things to Remember
-january: Got to Mo'orea, started dating Shwin, lots of diving and snorkeling.
-february: Started good (sex everyday for first 2 weeks), then went really crappy (as usual), I got super sick on Valentines Day with some tropical flu for like a week, Shadow got hit by a car and had to be put down, and there was a water spout that hit Gump Marine Station and knocked down the fa'repote' AND I broke my rib!
-march: Left Mo'orea, spent 2 weeks in New Zealand! and then got to Catalina.
-april: LOTS AND LOTS OF DIVING! Lots of bar trips and school work. Very fun in 2 Harbors.
-may: Coastal trip to Monterey and mid-Cal areas, some cool dives, Nitrox certification, left Catalina and returned home at the end, spending the next day in the hospital with weird arm numbness (which then lead to annoying medical stuff the rest of the summer).
-june: Worked at the aquarium!
-july: Worked at the aquarium! Visited Shwin in NC.
-august: Worked at the aquarium!
-september: Back to school... Living with Jocelyn and Kitty! Lots of parties early on. And school work.
-october: GREs. School work, partying, whatnot.
-november: School work, applications, got my wisdom teeth out over Thanksgiving!
-december: Sent out appls, finished at Northeastern entirely, job searching ensues.

-who would you take?: East West XXV!!! Plus Combosch, obviously. And Sal.
-who would you take if you could only bring two people?: Ashwin and Seth.
-what three things would you bring?: A lifetime supply of fresh water, sun lotion, mask/snorkel.

-what is the greatest amount of alcohol you've had at once?: "Three liters of beer, Jager shots, and like 5 pint bottles of beer. Not "all at once," but definately in the course of a night." This may now be challenged by final party in Nahant: Jocelyn and I split 4 bottles of champagne, a bottle of white wine, plus peppermint snapps shots and beers.

What did you do in 2009 that you'd never done before?: Went to the South Pacific and dove on coral reefs, learn about fishes and corals, some AMAZING HIKING (like the Cross-Island Trail in Mo'orea, and tons in NZ: Alpine Crossing Trail in Tongariro Ntl Park, Abel Tazman Ntl Park, climbed Franz Joseph glacier, saw the Southern Cross, crossed the date line, went to LA, dove a kelp forest with seals and sealions, lots of research, broke a RIB!!, finished COLLEGE, got kissed at sunset on a tropical island, lived on TWO ISLANDS!, etcetc.
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year? I kept my resolution of having a KICKASS TIME ON THREESEAS!.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth? No?

5. What countries did you visit? French Polynesia and New Zealand.
6. What would you like to have in 2010 that you lacked in 2009? Direction for my future!

9. What was your biggest failure? Getting a B+ in Dynamic Earth! So pathetic!
10. Did you suffer illness or injury? YES! Sprained my neck, got a couple super tropical sicknesses (GUMP STOMACH EEWWW), and broke a rib!
